How do I create 2 lines on a label using ACS?
To create two line on a label press the back slash key (\) twice which gives you a second line.
How do I import an image?
To import an image depends on what type of job you’re doing. If you’re doing an engraving job then you:
- Choose an image which is a good quality
- Open the image in the windows paint program
- Convert and save the image to a monochrome bitmap.
- Open ACS, choose your label type and click onto Custom icon.
- Once in custom click on the image icon located in the top left corner of your screen
- select your image and convert this to a WMF (windows meta file)
When converted you can upload your image.
- Click on your chosen image and adjust to your desired size
- Click back on to the custom icon which will then show what your image looks like on your label.
If you’re doing a printing job, the process is easier.
- Choose your image you want to print
- Open you ACS software
- Create project and choose your label type
- Go to custom and click on image icon
- Click on your chosen image and adjust to your desired size
- Click back on to the custom icon which will then show what your image looks like on your label.
I have just assembled my pen and it is leaking, what do I check?
- The first thing to check is to see if the pen is assembled correctly. When assembling the pen there should be a distinctive CLICK heard when the nib is connected to the ink cartridge.
- Check how much thread is showing, if there is more rung of thread showing then there is a chance the pen will leak.
- Check to see if the collar is securely attached to the ink cartridge, if it isn’t then this will cause the pen to leak.
I am unable to import graphics onto my label?
To be able to import graphics you must first run the ACS software as an administrator, to do this
- Right click on the ACS desktop icon which opens a menus
- Scroll down to properties and click on ‘Advanced’
- You will see a box which has ‘Run as administrator’ next to it, click on this box which will put a tick in the box
- Click ‘OK’
- Then click apply and ok.
You should now be able to import graphics.
